Hello OurChurch.Com webmasters,

Earlier this week my two youngest children headed back to school, marking the unofficial end to Summer.

So, this week has been a transition from the more relaxed pace we had over the last couple of months, to a more structured schedule necessary to make the most of the opportunities available in the fall - sports, clubs, school (though I'm not sure my kids would classify the latter as an opportunity. Wink

If you lead the communications at your church, school, ministry or business, you may be experiencing a similar transition as you ramp up for the fall season. As a ministry partner, we want you to know you're not alone in this. We are called to bear one another's burdens.

If you're having any challenges with your website, let us know so we can help.

If you're ready to ramp things up with a more engaging website or better search rankings to reach more people, give us a call. Delegating those things to someone you can trust is a powerful way to get more done with your limited time.

Speaking of limited time, let me cut to the chase and invite you to take a quick look at the helpful info contained in this month's newsletter below.

In His Service,
Paul Steinbrueck

6) Last Chance for Your 2 Cents

Three weeks ago we did a "soft launch" of our brand new dashboard which will replace the current order form, invoicing system and MyOCC dashboard. The new dashboard is much more user friendly and will making ordering and renewing services much easier.

Right now it's only available to new members who order a new website or hosting package.

Within the next few weeks, we'll begin a voluntary transition period where you'll be able to move to the new system if and when you like. Eventually, we will help the rest of our members migrate to the new dashboard and put the old system out to pasture. At this time we don't have a specific dates set for the start of either of these phases.

Keep in mind, the new dashboard will NOT affect your website in any way. It will not change or replace your website or the NE1 Web Builder admin tool you may use to update your site.

Google has once again made algorithm changes which are shaking up the search rankings. If you've got one of OurChurch.Com's search marketing solutions, you can relax knowing we're aware of the changes, monitoring your rankings and making adjustments accordingly. If not, you can still get this free report on the latest changes and make your own adjustments.

3) BLOG UPDATE: Micro-consulting: Another Innovative Opportunity for Ministry and Business

Proverbs 16:16 says, “How much better to get wisdom than gold, to get insight rather than silver!”

Three thousand years later, we exchange a significant amount of our gold for wisdom and insight in books, coaching, consultants, colleges, seminaries and more.

It’s the information economy.

If you’re an expert on something, people are willing to pay you for your expertise.

The Internet continues to fuel innovation in the information economy, making possible new ways for the expert and the expert-seeker to connect and exchange wisdom and knowledge. Some of these innovations include online learning and ebooks.

The latest innovation is “micro-consulting

If you use a template that has a menu across the top, be sure to limit the number and length of the main menu items so it doesn't "break" the template. Using sub-menus can help with this too.
