Support for Free Beacon Websites Ending

Beginning August 1, 2010 we will no longer be providing technical support to members with free Beacon sites.

Beacon was the original web builder we launched OurChurch.Com with back in 1996. But in January of 2008, we introduced its successor - the NE1 Web Builder.

Since then we've been gently encouraging Beacon uses to migrate to NE1. We created an automated migration tool that copies all the content in your Beacon site into an NE1 version of your site. And we created a simple 3-step process, that allows you to view and edit the new NE1 version of your site before making it live.

NE1 enables organizations to create and manage websites that are much better looking than Beacon, and NE1 sites have tons of improved functionality including:

- Drop-down sub-menus
- A WYSIWYG editor that makes formatting text and inserting images a breeze.
- Vastly improved calendar, newsletter, and shopping cart modules.
- Blog, Twitter, and Facebook tools

Member with free Beacon sites may continue to receive support but upgrading to a premium hosting package. Click below to upgrade.

However, we strongly encourage all Beacon users - even those paying for a Gold, Silver, Bronze, or Starter hosting package - migrate to NE1. To do that, login to your Beacon Webmaster page and click the "Beacon to NE1" link towards the top of the page.
